J&J Makes Offer To Buy A Japanese Skincare Company

Johnson & Johnson plans to purchase all outstanding shares of the Japanese cosmetics company, Ci:z Holdings.

Johnson & Johnson has made an offer of $2.05 billion in cash to buy all the outstanding shares of the Japanese cosmetics company Ci:z Holdings, which owns skincare brands Dr.Ci:Labo, Labo Labo, and Genomer.

J&J already owns 19.9% of the company and is its second-largest shareholder. 

The news was reported by The Street and CNBC.
